On immigration, what do you think ICE is doing to the issue of "anchor babies".(babies born to pregnant tourists )?

It would take a Constitutional amendment to change the law.

The current issue under discussion is children who were brought illegally to the United States, not born in the United States.

Interestingly, there isn't a single country on the planet that grants citizenship to illegal immigrant children so the United States would be the first.

I would guess it's very rarely that tourists have babies here. In any case, 'birthright citizenship' is protected by the Constitution, so the only way you can eliminate it is with a constitutional amendment. There is literally no other way to do it.

The fact that Republican congresscritters and party leaders are not even talking about an amendment shows that they're not really serious about eliminating birthright citizenship, they're only using 'anchor babies' as a rhetorical point.

Republican voters are so used to being lied to and manipulated they don't even notice this. Basically what your candidate is saying is "I hate immigrants and foreigners and minorities as much as you do. I'm not about to do anything about it, but vote for me anyway 'cos I'm as intolerant as YOU are."
