All depends on what your home internet provider charges for just internet service without the bundled phone line. What I did was port my old home phone number over to Google Voice. That way I have a number to give people, without giving out my cell number. I can also send and receive text on the home number at no cost per month. Also lets me have only certain callers forwarded to my cell phone.

I don't see why you would need both, most people just use mobile phones now.
