Get rid of landline for internet wifi what?

Update:

how can i work my laptop if i get rid of my landline that i have for wifi. . I also have an iphone so will data be added to that i am clueless here on this subject. i don't want two bills coming at me every month just for the internet.

    cell phone internet is MUCH more expensive than a landline
