starting from de broglie relation λ = h/p , show that propagation of errors implies that λ = hΔp/p^2 = λ ^2 Δp /h

λ = h/p
Differentiate:
dλ = - h/p^2 dp
In a linear approximation therefore
Δλ = h Δp /p^2
You can substitute p = h/λ on the right hand side to get
Δλ = λ^2 Δp / h
