Christianity is based on faith in Jesus Christ. He is the foundation of our faith.

The core beliefs of Christianity are summarized in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, was resurrected, and thereby offers salvation to all who will receive Him in faith. Unique among all other faiths, Christianity is more about a relationship than religious practices. Instead of adhering to a list of “do’s and don’ts,” the goal of a Christian is to cultivate a close walk with God. That relationship is made possible because of the work of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Beyond these core beliefs, there are many other items that are indicative of what it is and what Christianity believes. Christians believe that the Bible is the inspired, “God-breathed” Word of God and that its teaching is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21). Christians believe in one God that exists in three......

Christiatnity is a man-made superstition that was invented extremely late in human history - only 1900 years ago by a man named Paul who built a significant number of churches in Ephesus, Thessaloniki, Philipi and Corinth in 54 AD. In addition to persuading Jews and Gentiles to convert, Paul also redefined the message of Jesus and introduced concepts that Jesus never spoke of such as Original Sin - an odd predicament if he were truly here to save everyone from it

Christianity remained confined mostly to the Roman and Byzantine empires for the next 1500 years until the Age of Exploration began by Spanish and Portugese sailors where it was finally introduced to North and South America, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Polynesia, the Pacific Islands and the lower African interior - mostly through violence or coercion.

The concept of christianity is quite complex given the relationship of the demigod Jesus and himself the father known as God who are supposed to be one and the same. Generally, christians believe that God appeared in the flesh as a human being and sacrificed himself in a Roman crucifixion to atone for the sins of mankind and to create a way for sinners to gain entry into heaven by simply believing in and accepting him into your heart.

Christians are followers of Jesus Christ and worship the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

This is the statement of belief of the original Christians:

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.

Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.

And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

And I believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
