sorry , x = 1 / 2 ===> y = 4 but 4(1/2) + 2(4) ╪ 1....there is NO solution as these describe parallel lines

4x + 2y = 1
y = -2x+5
2x + y = 5
4x + 2y = 10, which contradicts the first equation.
No solution.

The first equation can be rearranged to
y = -2*x + (1/2)
That's inconsistent with the second equation; there are no solutions.
