Why do people ask questions about things they are pissed off about on yahoo that will always have answers that can only be an opinion?

Because they want to offend or they want to see someone who would share the same opinion with them and feel good about themselves.

This is an opinion too. But what makes opinion worth listening is the use of common sense.

They haven't figured the rules out yet.

Why are you asking that question whose answers can only be mere opinions?

It's not even an honest opinion if you allow people to block and to pick and choose who you want to hear from then all you have is a clique and you have personal promotion of yourself which is against Yahoo's rules and guidelines perhaps soon somebody should take notice and make a suitable change

I suppose because a large part of our lives are based on opinion and not all questions can have factual answers.
