well I can tell YOU never read the Quran and you get all your info from anti-islamic propaganda sites.. in the Quran. women and mothers are so valued that Allah/God says heaven is at the feet of mothers.. ........... thats how valued women are.. we are like pearls.. women are honored in Islam.. back when the west still held women as chattle, to be "owned" by their husbands. Islam lifted them out of this.. Also women can hold property, vote, work, where as in the west, even up till recently, women werent allowed to.. maybe you are confusing some bible verses for Islam ..

The Muslims who believe that are a vocal minority, just like the Christians who picket funerals and the atheists who think they're automatically smarter than everyone else. Most varieties of Islam don't teach that.
