What right does Netflix have for chopping up movies?

Update:

My ? was kinda rhetoric.......Netflix is full-blooded liberal. Netflix, like the majority of the country, despises things like white men, men, family........Netflix lust to display things of this nature in the worst light poissible to fit global agenda.........Netflix IS cheating people and yes, they are pieces of s_h1t for doing so.

Same rights that TV stations cut off scenes to fit in more commercials.

are they chopping or is the copyright owner chopping? Sometimes the music was not licensed for unanticipated means of sharing the movie and some things need to be removed

The exact same rights as any other TV station for cutting and dropping a whole lot just for fitting in time for commercials. Just this last year, I have seen 3 movies, where some things were missing and it really did make for the movie to be a pathetic movie.

That is the reputation they want to build for themselves so let them do it, where YOU STILL HAVE THE OPTION TO BUY THE MOVIE AND WATCH THE ORIGINAL FULL THING.

You mean what right does Netflix have TO CHOP up movies? They have a legal right, sold to them by the copyright owners.

Which films in particular? I never heard of Netflix modifying/censoring films on their own streaming service.

edit: In response to your comment, I did some research. Talladega Nights has two versions: the theatrical cut (107 minutes) and the unrated version (122 minutes). Netflix has the theatrical cut.

I don't think Netflix hates white men, seeing as their most popular original shows (Stranger Things, House of Cards, Daredevil, Iron Fist) have white men in the lead roles.

edit: And their newest high profile TV series Mindhunters has white men in lead roles

I don't know, it must be to make R rated PG-13. Accessible to many more people without breaking the law.

    Yes; They paid too.
