Don't generalize. Just because you don't love someone doesn't mean you can't love. It's just you haven't met the person you will fall in love with.

I believe you can love. Very often (especially when very young) couples tend to outgrow each other. I believe neither one of you was truly in love. Let's be realistic. You're not in love with that person but you don't want to let go of him/her either. I would call that very selfish. Are you afraid you won't find someone better and then stay with this partner?

Please, do the right thing, set this person free.
