Pope Francis says the theories of evolution and the Big Bang are real and God is not “a magician with a magic wand” putting an end to the “pseudo theories” of creationism and intelligent design! So the Catholic Church, Church of England and mainstream churches all accept the big bang and evolution!

Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury put it rather well – “Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist approach to scripture, ignoring scholarship and critical learning, and confusing different understandings of truth”!

Christian Fundamentalist is a complete contradiction in terms!

CHRISTIAN – A follower or believer in Jesus.

FUNDAMENTALIST One who believes the Bible is literally true and must be followed exactly.

Therefore they are followers of the bible and not Jesus making them non Christians!

But worse is to follow it also makes them ideologists.

IDEOLOGY An idea that is false or held for the wrong reasons but is believed with such conviction as to be irrefutable.

So Christians have a loving and forgiving god and fundamentalist - well - Just are not Christians!

Evolution, big bang, etc.. these are not the reasons I stopped believing in the fairy tale.

I stopped believing because the one I was raised under was not the very first, even though it claimed to be the one since the beginning. And then I thought, why was this one also secluded to such a tiny region? Why did various different regions invent different, according to the one I was raised under, false gods? Why didn't different regions know the same god? Why did the god I was raised under spread, not through the god communicating, but through humans slaughtering and using force? Why did no other god spread through communication?

Furthermore, why are there so many selfish religious people who are blessed? Why are so many believers not blessed? Hmm.. seems more like there isn't a god interacting with anyone to begin with. Why, between those who believe in the same god, are there so many mixed messages on the one true way to believe?? The easy answer is always, "Oh, everyone else is doing it wrong, and hey look at that! A bible verse that says only a few will get it right!! And of course, I'm the one doing it right!!" Hmm.. seems more like their ego is talking to them, and their ego is their god. Oh, don't worry, you're doing it right, amiright?

The whole thing is nonsense. How convenient that only the dead know the truth. How evil that an all loving, "forgiving", god doesn't reveal himself until after it's too late to be forgiven. I know, he revealed himself to you, like he revealed himself to all the other believers who are doing it wrong, because they don't actually know Jesus, like you do.
