more a case of the pharmaceuticals don't care. Mostly, though, it is a question of no solution, or one that might really not be good with you in particular but tends to help many. Life had better be pretty unlivable without the chems if you want to risk it.

No, they want you live so you keep coming back to them. If the prescriptions cause you some other pain and unpleasant side effects, then you will probably keep coming back to them. They want to keep you alive to milk you and the insurance companies for all they can.

    Quite the opposite.

This is why they ALL state "Tell your doctor if you suffer from X". Those with "X" are the most likely to die if taking that specific prescription.

There are quite a few drugs that can be prescribed for various conditions, illnesses, and diseases. Based on those conditions, illnesses, and diseases, the doctor prescribes what they feel is best FOR YOU. If your doctor doesn't know you have "X":, it's NOT his/her fault if you die. They're not psychic. YOU need to talk to your doctor - about everything going on with your body. This goes double if you're sent to a specialist. A specialist won't necessarily know your full medical history like your normal doctor does.
