Personally I don't because I haven't read it. Many other atheists clearly have and do indeed know it better than many Christians

There may be some atheists who do. Many nominal Christians never open their Bible. They sit on a shelf and
gather dust. That is why Jehovah's Witnesses encourage daily Bible reading and in-depth study of God's Word.
They also offer free home Bible studies to all who would like to benefit from a better knowledge of God's Word.

It's not that hard to know the Bible better than Chistians.
It helps a great deal when you don't let things like "faith" blind you.
For example: Canaan in the 2nd millenia BCE was occupied by Egypt. That means that the Exodus, the Parting of the Red Sea, the Ten Commandments, the Sojourn in the desert, the Walls of Jericho all happened on Egyptian soil. But this was not the case in the 1st millenia BCE when the Torah was actually written (long after any figure who was Moses was dead) and they likely used the current political borders as their story setting.

Lying is morally correct in Atheism. It's obvious from the questions and comments internet atheists make about the Bible, they are biblically illiterate.

Too broad an accusation.
SOME Christians know the Bible very well, and SOME atheists know the Bible very well.
Matt Dilihunty (from the Atheist Experience videos) was a fundamentalist Christian for 25 years.
He studied the Bible thoroughly, so as to be ready to DEFEND the his belief in the Bible against all attacks.
The more he studied it, the more he noticed it does not hold up to critical examination.

I think it's the same as critics of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints saying they know more about the Book of Mormon and other Church beliefs and its history better than the Church members.
