This fad, promoted by BYBs to con the gullible into parting with their money, has NOTHING to do with Trump, as far as I'm aware.

Poodles are the only legitimate breed btw. The rest are just mix-bred dogs, probably the result of mating ?? with a Poodle.

Backyard Breeders are the ones who breed Poodle mutt mixes for the sole purpose of their own financial gain, and they are the ones who have slapped silly names on the mutt puppies that they breed. They also LIE about what they breed by telling potential buyers that they are hypoallergenic and don't shed. That is NOT the truth.

Donald Trump has nothing to do with this at all, so I have no idea where you came up with that, but since you did, I'm guessing that you are not a Trump supporter. Whatever, but if you live in the USA, Trump is your President, even if you claim he isn't. If you move to a different County, then he won't be your President anymore. I just found out something really funny yesterday. I have a friend who's lived in the US legally for decades, but I didn't know she wasn't a US citizen. She is a CANADIAN citizen, and is now applying for her US citizenship. I find this very interesting since so many people who stated if Trump won the Presidency they would move to Canada, but didn't.

Just for the record, one of my dogs is Poodle mix/mutt too, and he is what he is, a MUTT, not some made-up bullshyte name.

The only 'oodles' other than Poodles are backyard bred mutts with some stupid designer name bred to con the general public into thinking they are getting some designer type breed at totally inflated prices.

This is only since stupid back yard dog breeders began crossing various dog breeds with the Poodle and making up daft combined names for them in a bid to convince gullible potential dog owners that they were buying something special (at a huge price) when in fact all they are getting is a Mutt which in reality is not worth much money at all. In fact not so many years ago, it was difficult to even GIVE mutts away.

A lot of crossbreeds are poodle crosses; labradoodle (labrador x poodle), goldendoodle (golden retriever x poodle), airedoodle (airedale terrier x poodle) etc
