Should I Quit my Theater Production?

I was cast specifically because I'm short, the director will go back on what she says, she will kick people out for her mistakes, she throws stuff around, and is constantly yelling at people. Should I quit?

Depends on your goal. If you took this just for fun, do whatever you want. However if you are serious about getting into theater or actin, stick it out. Like it or not, you are going to find a lot of directors who are hard to work with, abusive, sexually assaulting people, etc. You will have to learn how to deal with such people.

Just make a note and do not work with this director again in the future. There are lots of other theaters around that are looking for people/actors.

Depends on the nature of your involvement. Are employed (paid) as an actor? Are you doing Community Theater for fun?

Only you can know what your involvement in that production, and quitting it, might mean for any future involvement in similar productions.

I've worked with abusive directors before. I stuck it out because I made a commitment when I took the role. But I also commit to never working with certain directors ever again.

No. You should be fired. Hope this helped.

So far you are describing normal theatrical goings-on. Par for the course. Suck it up. This is all part of the process. Stick with it and learn from this experience. You'll be a better actor/actress years from now if you stay with this.
