Based on the results of the latest pew poll, Christianity in the US is around the 75% range but declining.  Atheism is holding a steady 3% with no measurable change.  The real surprise though is both Hindu and Islam are gaining significantly in the US.

Funny you bring up the decline of the family. Families are in decline partially due to employers not paying people enough for one of the parents to stay home and raise the kids. Yet "Christians" continue to support a political party aligned with the wealthy and push for deregulation of businesses including labor laws. Where are the Christian preachers condemning THIS?
