The King James version of the Bible, is the only bible that DOES NOT use God's name JEHOVAH in the palaces where it belongs?

Mean while, in the original text and the Scrolls, the name Jehovah & Jah appears almost 7,000 times. Why is that?

Some Jewish scholars did not want to profane his name because of superstition took it out and only left it in a few places, Exdous 6:3 “And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but with regard to my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.”

Many modern translations make no mention of YHWH, or 'Jehovah' if you put the vowels in and anglicise it. Most likely because the name has been adopted by Jehovah's Witnesses, and many people fear that making any reference to the name Jehovah, somehow gives creedence to J/W's.

The KJ Bible DID up until recently use Gods name until they like the rest of Christendom gave in !

However the New King James Bible HAS restored the tetragrammaton in over 5,000 places.

And the reason WHY the KJ Bible did originally insert Gods name was because one of the first translators William Tyndale translated it as Yehovah, so then the KJ Bible which came after copied MUCH of Tyndale's Bible.

First, God never gives us His name. Each word used is a character reference, not a name.

Second, we are never given His name or Satan's name.

Council of Nicaea had a lot to do with it. Back then it was easier to make changes because not everyone had access to the scrolls or could read any language much less one they didn't speak. The discrepancies are even more obvious if you compare the King James version with the English version that most Americans use. When two version of English differ so much, you know a lot has changed from an ancient language that is not currently spoken and very few can translate.

I don't know how you would know what the "original" text says or doesn't say since we do not have an original text to look at. We have some pretty early copies, but no originals.

Why does the name matter? Praising God is what’s important, his name is Jesus Christ.
