    That is like the physics question about the cat. There is a cat in the box, but does it exist (Schrödinger's cat)? You existential people make me nuts.

    A lot of people in the world have never heard of you. Just because they haven't doesn't mean you don't exist. By the same token, it doesn't take personal knowledge of a thing to make it come into existence. Things can and do exist without our knowledge or permission all the time.
