How do I properly step by step incorporate myself?
My brother and I are looking into incorporating ourselves to become a legit business for lighting and electrical, also including insurance or any other certifications. We want to bring on employees legitimately. We have the work force and the projects but we just want to know exactly how we make our business legit. Thank you.

Why do you want to incorporate? You clearly don't have any idea what a corporation is or how it works. Do you think something magic will happen if you get "Inc." after your name?
We call this "Creating Frankenstein." People with no clue what they're doing create a legal business entity, don't know how to run it, get it hopelessly screwed up, get into trouble with the IRS, then come to us to charge them big bucks to clean it up for them.

You MUST talk with an attorney who has experience in creating corporations. We cannot tell you, as it differs from country to country and state to state in the US.
As far as licensing goes, you need to contact the relevant local authorities that oversee licenses for the trades in which you are interested. We do not know what those are for the place in which you live.
