I avoid inappropriate websites that has inappropriate content.

I don't like the fact that some sites where people can watch movies for free in can cause viruses.
I'm very selective over whatever I click on when I'm on the internet even if I ever accidentally click on something I dislike by mistake. I don't like some of I what I see on the internet.
My least favorite thing about the internet is users talking trash about things I enjoy.

You should be backing up your data and files to an external hard drive. That way no matter what type of Virus you get your date is SAFE.
That is the FIRST RULE in Computer Security you need to learn.

The best way to protect yourself is to install a maintain a good anti-virus program on your PC. Yes, Apple devices can get viruses. The trick is not to let a virus get on to your computer rather than trying to get rid of a virus once the infection is in place.
If the virus is in a data or application file, then you cannot guarantee that the virus can be removed without prejudicing the file that carries the infection.
