Where should I connect my moitors? Gtx 1080 GPU or Mobo?

I have a gaming PC with a gtx 1080. I am running dual monitors that are 1080p 60Hz. In my games I am getting very low FPS usually at 30FPS. It's supposed to be 100+FPS.

My parts:

I7 6700

ASUS z170 mobo

16GB ddr4 3000mhz RAM

250GB ssd

3tb use

900W PSU

If you plug the monitor into the motherboard then programs will use the integrated graphics, which has very poor performance for more than 2D stuff.

Plug them into the 1080 to use it's graphics.

Many motherboards will actually disable the integrated graphics if you've got a video card plugged in.
