Perhaps the noticing is what happens when you get closer to Him. Perhaps God wants you to do something about these things.

A number of takes...
1. Satan chases after those trying to pursue the Lord. He knows once they get on the Lord's path, their suffering diminishes and everything becomes SO much easier. (Though Satan does pursue the righteous beware!)
- Proverbs 3:6 (NRSV) "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
2. You likely have hurdles in the way of "straight paths" that the Lord presents right in front of you, that He will most undoubtedly help you and provide all ways to overcome and move above and beyond. You have to get over that mountain. And once it clears, the relief is great. It is like when you get an icecream headache ("brainfreeze") and it finally goes away, and it's such relief it's like ahhhhh...
3. Many more unspoken, likely known by you, more likely known by only God. TRUST is the key word when it comes to faith. Trust that when I lead you to the other side of this door, amazing things are there.
