Anyone know xiaolin forms?
My Sifu has been in martial arts for 50 years now and he says he's forgotten more forms than he remembers (and believe me, he remembers a lot). Some time ago he taught me a form that he only remembers as 'xiaolin number 1'. Though he's tried, he can't recall the proper name of the form.
It's a pretty short form that opens with a foot stomp and a jumping-jack like grab escape and end with 'stork spreads wings'.
Any ideas what it the proper name might be?

It could possibly be a version of a Lau Gar set. Look some of those up - there aren't very many. Off hand, it almost sounds like Lau Gar Kuen.
Your sifu sounds like my sifu...

Is your teacher Water Kung Fu girl? You do realize that Xiao Lin is a video game character. Don't know if she does a form in the video game but you might want to look in that direction for your form.

The correct romanization is "shaolin", not "xiaolin". I highly doubt it's a Shaolin form. From your description, it sounds more like a variant of Chen style Tai Chi form. It would help if you state the number of postures within this form you are asking about and name a few of the moves.
