James selflessly gives up much of his time explaining the physics required to understand climate science. At times, his voluminous comments are more important than his answers. Much of this goes unappreciated by political entities in this forum, but many of us, who are scientists, know that he's trying to educate and lift others out of the knowledge muck they wallow in. He's not leaving here without thanks from me.

I am not a denier, but real science does not need say consensus or arguments. They have objective data, experiments or models that actually accurately predict the future. Climate science has none of these yet. Poor measurement systems, unreliable models and no experiments.

Do you really think that there's such a thing called global warming? Then wouldn't that be better to have add an big fat dry ice on earth to curb and reverse that again? Since the core of the sun is metalliod and saturated and acid/cold water dissolve that radar from the sub-alien core.

First of all, the term "denier" is inaccurate and offensive.

You and I only disagree on the magnitude of projected warming. That's it. I'm on board with the physics. The big question is the effect of feedbacks, especially water vapor. Without positive feedbacks, there is no problem. I also think it is significant that the last IPCC summary report did not have a consensus climate sensitivity. I deny nothing.

Knowing the difference between ocean energy and atmospheric energy might help you in future endeavors.

so called realists , are they aware the sun is 1.2 MILLION times the size of the earth and more energy hits the earth from the sun every hour than humans generate in a year, on that scale any human output is microscopic and unlikely to influence climate as much as a tiny change in the sun's output
