How do I know if it s a canker sore or oral herpes?

Canker sores like to occur on the inside of the mouth. They're raised light coloured slightly itchy lesions that occur on the soft parts of the inside of the mouth. Cold sores are not considered to be an std because they can be passed to the mouth with out having any thing to do with sex.

Cold sores usually occur on and or around the lips of the outside of the mouth. They cause itching, burning and or tingling symptoms before and while a break out occurs. Cold sores are caused by the oral herpes virus. Canker sores are not related to herpes or other stds.

I have both cold sores and canaker sores, lucky me.
