It's awesome to be thankful for what we have now. God blesses us more that way, because then we are not selfish. But's it's greater when the Lord tests us and when we are firm in faith that we trust him in all tests. If you permit me, I want to invite you to the church the Light of the World. LLDM <3 It's a piece of heaven here.

It should awe us that Jesus essentially sent Himself into every one of those homes, too. Heavenly Father didn’t just send His Son to die for us collectively. He sent His Son to feel the daily pains and the death pangs of every separate child, woman, or man who ever lived. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus transcended time and space to somehow accompany every individual soul on his or her private journey through evil and pain. He felt it all with each one of us.

He has looked out through the tearful eyes of those struggling to understand or live with same-sex attractions. He has felt bipolar mood swings. He has undergone all our chemotherapies, the sting of divorce proceedings, our rejections and devastating failures. Jesus knows the empty parking lot or dark closet where we cry. He knows the aching knees and puffy eyes after we run out of tears but not questions. These are His pains too.

He knows what He’s asking of us. Of me. He knows it fully. Personally. Intimately.

Point to read on: When Christ asks His Saints to endure hard or painful things, He suffers the full impact Himself.

Grit. Resilience. Trust. I had a really difficult situation this summer and God got me out of it in a way I never saw coming. He told me I had to stay with my work and he would do the rest. I'm a teen. I was working at a research lab and could hardly bare it due to health concerns. Miraculously, my partner had to leave the school for disciplinary reasons. That's not the first time that has happened to me. Regardless of what religion you are, the universe does amazing things. Stay strong. All the cliches are true. You'll get the best that's happened yet if you can keep the faith. And in regards to being thankful—you're alive! You can do anything you want today. Best wishes. You've got the power.
