The bible is mythology -- to avoid being yelled at, I will state that I'm using the classicist definition of mythology rather than the colloquial one in which "myth" means a story important to a specific group of people and whether it's true or not is irrelevant. I feel you aren't really asking about what mythology people have read so much as trying to instigate a flame war seeing as you could have very well have asked your question without throwing that second part in. Shame on you. Get a life.

Yes, Pheby. Edith Hamilton, the godmother of recording mythology for the masses. Several of the King Arthur Legends, Illiad, Odessey, and Dante's Inferno.

No, I do not find that mythology makes more sense than the Bible; it is perhaps easier to understand, however, because so few have opposing views on interpretation.

Yes and a lot. And the Bible counts as mythology, so same thing.

I find both to be equally allegorical. As a literary device, an allegory is a metaphor whose vehicle may be a character, place or event, representing real-world issues and occurrences. Allegory (in the sense of the practice and use of allegorical devices and works) has occurred widely throughout history in all forms of art, largely because it can readily illustrate or convey complex ideas and concepts in ways that are comprehensible or striking to its viewers, readers, or listeners.

Mythology and the bible are closely related.

The Gods spoken of in mythology are the fallen angels(Sons Of God) found in Genesis Chapter 6 of the Bible and the Titans of mythology are the Nephilims(hybrid offspring of angels and humans) which can also found in the Bible.

The Book Of Enoch also gives information on the gods(fallen angels/Watchers) and the Titans(Nephilim).

I find mythology more entertaining, because it carries no threatening subtext.
