HS Sophmore w/ too much free time after school?

I’m a sophmore in high school and since it’s november, all the clubs at my school have already started and the sports teams have too. Last year the only thing school related I did was the my schools softball team (var) but no clubs. I get straight A’s but I’m afraid I’m that I won’t get into a good college because of this. Softball starts again in January (not sure if I’m going to play) but I was just wondering if anyone had some advice? Thank you!!! Greatly appreciated :D

At my school, you can join clubs at any time. I'm also a sophomore and plan on getting a job pretty soon and starting some volunteer hours.

You can join a club at any time. Or better yet, start your own club and elect yourself president.

But it doesn't really matter. 99% of college admissions are your GPA and SAT scores.

Colleges don't look only at what you did at your school. Go to the food pantry, red cross, boys/girls club, YMCA, boys/girls scouts, volunteer, get part time job, mow lawns come spring, baby sit (get certified), ask an adult to teach you driving

Do softball or any other sport and try getting involved with clubs you might enjoy. It'll look good for college and you'll be able to connect with people that have similar interest. Or if you don't want to do that you could get a part-time, though it might stressful, it could bring in some extra money that you could save for college or a car if you need it.
