I ve finally decided on the D5500. Im wondering what the price of the D5500 will be like in the near future since black friday is a week away and the holiday season is coming. Can anyone help me get the best deal on this camera?

You've chosen a really nice and nifty camera model. Wait until the Black Friday Prices are posted for a better deal. Right now it's everyone's speculation (conclusions not based on facts). Try checking on Nikonrumors.com as Frank suggested.
Word of caution: careful only to buy at a long-established, reputable, well-known establishment; it's also a time when rip-offs and scams happen the most. Stay away from those "deals" on the Internet... you may pay for a new camera and receive a refurbished or used or defective camera, NOT a NEW camera, and the seller will disappear with your money and a smile on his/her face.
