Why don't Christians realize that Jesus doesn't return as a physical entity but as a kingdom of heaven?

And the kingdom of heaven is not something that you can say "..here, we found it/ or there it is, let's go and see it..". It is within men and it started some 2000 years ago so, IT WAS AND IS AND IS TO COME.

Update:

Mat 26:63 But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to Him, “I charge You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.” 64“You have said it yourself, Jesus answered. “But I say to all of you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Update 2:

John 16:16 In a little while you will see Me no longer, and then after a little while you will see Me.”

I think they look at Rev 1:7 where it says "every eye will see" but then forget it is NOT literal !

Jesus does not need to return as a physical entity but will do so as the king of God kingdom, and will use such to bring mankind and the word back into harmony with Gods will for the earth.

Regarding the kingdom, here is an aspect of the kingdom that is worth looking at, it is found in 1 Cor 15 24 and says :

Then the end will come, when He hands over the kingdom to his God the Father after He has destroyed all dominion, authority, and power.

And when you compare it with the prophecy for the last days in Daniel 2 about the immense metal image notice what it say here to:

    Daniel 2:44

“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever" ......this is the kingdom which Jesus will hand over to his God when he brings an end all human kingdoms at the time of the end !

In my comments box is a link to a good article that helps to explain this.

    EDIT.....EDIT

    Opps, try it now

Because of what Jesus himself said about the return of the Son of Man coming down from heaven with power and great glory, accompanied by all the heavenly hosts (Matthew 24:30). Like lightning that spreads across the entire sky, every eye will behold and every knee will bend. Jesus is the Son of Man. He is coming back. Why don't Christians believe what the Bible says?

In John 16:16 Jesus tells his disciples "In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me." That first phrase refers to the interval before the crucifixion and the second refers to his appearance after the resurrection. Because the disciples did not understand what Jesus meant, he had to explain it to them. "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father" (John 16:28). Well, that's pretty straightforward, but it doesn't prove that Jesus will not return physically! Jesus was speaking of events surrounding his death and resurrection. The events he described in Matthew 24 have yet to be fulfilled.

Jesus fulfilled the role of the suffering servant (Isaiah chapter 53) in His first coming. Jesus will fulfill the role of Israel’s deliverer and King in His second coming. Zechariah 12:10 and Revelation 1:7, describing the second coming, look back to Jesus being pierced. Israel, and the whole world, will mourn for not having accepted the Messiah the first time He came. After Jesus ascended into heaven, the angels declared to the apostles, “‘Men of Galilee,’ they said, ‘why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven’” (Acts 1:11).

The second coming is spoken of in greatest detail in Revelation 19:11-16, “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter.’ He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

I believe what the Bible tells me and in the promises made by Jesus about his second coming.

Because they worship the god of confusion and there's no holy spirit guiding them.

When Jesus came 2000 years ago, he established his kingdom, and it's been here ever since, later he will come down from the clouds and take his church with him, Jesus himself said so.

"the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ 26Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27And He will send out the angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven"

The physical kingdom of heaven hasn't come yet. It will come when Jesus returns.
