My phone is downloading a file at a rate of 500kbps when I have 100mbps internet. I have restarted my phone and router but no change. Help?

    Your phone nor your ISP can control the download rate of another networks connection.

    Only its server can do that.

    And when you download from another Network then you use their Upload speed... so many websites/networks dont have huge downloads speeds.

    Your download speed will allow you to download many Bits per seconds but from many networks not just one network at the same time. Even if you was to use another computer on your network your speed may be throttled down if the server determines all connections as IP sessions and not individual sessions.

    The Server determines its download speed not your ISP connection speed.
