Utility guy said to stop using my oven, because soot build up was causing it to burn inefficiently creating CO. How do I fix this?

    You IGNORE the moron and have a qualified person look at the oven.

    CO is produced by incomplete combustion, NOT by soot build up. If anything, the soot is a symptom of the CO, not the cause.
