Did God create the tomato, corn ,avacodo, wheat, lemons, and grapes?

Does evolutionary, unguided natural selection have anything other, than hypotheses to hang its hat on?

  • No, Bilbo, God did NOT create the tomato, corn, avocado (not avacodo), wheat, lemons, and grapes.

The tomato, corn, avocado, wheat, lemons, and grapes did not exist in their present form in nature.

Humans created every one of those plant products by co-opting the evolutionary process of natural selection.

And, contrary to what creationists ignorantly claim, natural selection is not unguided.

Natural selection results in any variation in the genotype (the genetic form) that helps the phenotype (the physical form) of an organism to better survive in its environment and to pass the variation on to the next generation.

THAT is what guides natural selection.

In the case of the tomato, corn, avocado, wheat, lemons, and grapes, humans became part of the environment and took the place of the evolutionary process of natural selection, thus bringing about the present forms of those plant products from their original precursors.

As to the first land plants, see this article.

Evolution has all of the evidence. The goddidit speculation has no evidence for it whatsoever. And an ancient book of myth and superstition is not evidence for anything except for the gullibility of those who believe in it.

OK, now what will be your next lemon of a question?
