The Light. Call it God. Call it Love. Call it Source. Call it Oneness. Call it Infinity. Call it whatever you want...

..And I just figured out, apparently my grandmother has just had a massive stroke, and is now going back there! I'll be visiting her soon to say goodbye, (more like au revoir, thanks for everything you were, and safe travels until we meet again), and even writing about it on the internet seems just SO f*cking cheap and hollow!! But I just got off the phone crying, and writing is kind of like therapy to me....

She was everything. She still is. She was not perfect, but she was a beautiful, pure-hearted, kind, genuine as f*ck human being, who let that shine through her, right to the end! Even as she was gradually losing herself to Alzheimer's, to the point that she could no longer remember any of us...

I'll never forget. And I'll always love her. Just... say hi to the Light for me! And I think I'm going to go cry some more now. ;'-(

I never really thought about it. Since my efforts at public service are dedicated to improving the lives of others, I guess humanity in general? Maybe my own community, since it is doubtful that my efforts at charity reach beyond that level.
