Is this normal (Hallucinations)?

I have bipolar disorder, and I’ve been working a lot lately (70 hrs a week) and there’s this beeping sound I hear a lot at work. It’s the sound the machines make when connecting to things. I’ve been hearing that beeping when I’m not at work. Loudly. When I’m in my car and at home. On and off. Is it Normal to hallucinate a sound you hear so often or am I going crazy?

Go see a doctor. This isn't normal.

You're not going crazy. But in a way, it is a type of hallucination-- an auditory one. That's just your subconscious duplicating the noise it's overexposed to. You're hearing it so often that when the sound *isn't* present, that silence seems abnormal to your subconscious mind.

No it's normal, for instance I often hear my mother call my name, I instantly turn and sometimes call back before I realise. Just keep on top of everything you know, just make sure you are not messing up your sleep patterns and you're taking your medication, if you notice any stranger hallucinations definitely check it out, if your hearing that noise 10+ hours a week it's normal, like a ringing noise after a night club.
