How to get peppermint smell out of water bottle.?

I got a water bottle (one of the thick ones where you can keep warm stuff in it also. There's no condensation) almost a year ago, and I used it once for a peppermint drink. I cannot put anything else in it because every time I'd put it at my mouth, I'd get a very strong smell of peppermint. I cleaned it 100 times and it won't go away. What do I do?

Pour 1-2 cups of mouthwash in the bottle. Shake it for 10 seconds. Let sit for a few minutes rinse out & then wash thoroughly with faucet water 💧

Try adding 1/4 cup of baking soda to a cup of boiling water, shaking it to blend, and soaking it.

soak in a tub or sink of bleach and hot water. Soak it at least over night. 2 quarts water, 1/4 cup bleach.

If your water bottle has a rubber gasket, thats probably where the smell has soaked in.

    you don't get it off

you may try to hide it with something other

    eucalyptus oil etc.
