For gaming? Absolutely get a dedicated GPU. The CPU does have integrated graphics, but it isn't good for much more than video streaming and internet browsing.

If you want to play modern or semi-modern games. If you're not playing games then the integrated GPU will be sufficent.
"How much difference would a GTX 1060 graphics card make?"
For gaming it be a tremendous difference, an order of magnitude better as it relates to framerate and just the ability to run some games. For non-gaming use, there's not going to be much benefit though.
