Is Rob Gronkowski a lock for making the hall of fame?

Just wondering, I believe he put up enough numbers to make it

    Not yet, but if Rob Gronkowski continues to perform very well in football for at least 2-3 more seasons, he will become a lock for future induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

    No, at least not if he retired now. Only 8 TEs are in the Hall of Fame and the last one was Shannon Sharpe in 2011. That gives you an idea of how hard it is to become

    Immortal.

    The only non eligible tight ends that are locks are Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten. Gronk may have more TD than Witten but Witten has almost twice as many yards and never misses a game due to injury or suspension.
