The two vases in this image are filled with evergreen branches, holly branches and baby's breath for the snow look. Add in some large full size red carnation stems and a holiday bouquet is made.

Here is an image of full size red carnations and baby's breath. Adding the evergreen branches and/or holly branches will make the arrangement 'wintry' for the holidays.

Adding in Winterberry will give you the bright red berries as the video on this web page shows. No baby's breath in this arrangement, just a beautiful wintry bouquet.

You can go to a florist, carrying your own vase along with an image or a video of what you want them to arrange for you. As long as the florist shop has the flowers and foliage shown in the images, they can build you the bouquet you want to give your Mother.

If you do not want the flowers and foliage arranged, just the different stems to take as a bouquet, the images will still help with the specific selections and quantity of each to add.

    Lilies?

Maybe something with red leaves or red berries in it to get a Chrismas feel.
