How do you find the derivative of (8)/(4-x^2)?

    Quotient rule:

    My teacher says"Lo D-high minus high d-low over low squared". It's a catchy phrase to memorize.

    So! Low D-High= (4-x^2) *0, which is 0.

    High D-low = 8 * (-2x)

    So you have

    -(-16x)/(4-x^2)^2

    = 16x/(4-x^2)^2

    use quotient rule

    derivative = (denominator x derivative of numerator - numerator x derivative of denominator) / denominator squared
