Bullying can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn. The best way to address bullying is to stop it before it starts. There are a number of things school staff can do to make schools safer and prevent bullying.

Well unfortunately most schools don't do anything and most staff workers at the schools worry more about their paycheck then anything else. In my opinion, most schools should adapt a non-tolerance bullying policy, which means when a student bullies another student, that student should face immediate disciplinary action and result into an automatic suspension.

Why put all the responsibility on the schools? Here's another question- what should STUDENTS be doing to prevent bullying? Wouldn't it be more effective if students agreed to stand up for those who are being bullied?
