Why is my tv out of sync?

Ok so i bought a new Samsung 4k uhd smart TV and hooked it up with my vizio sound bar with optical cord and i use a 1080p roku stick for streaming other channels that the TV doesnt have but whenever i use the roku it seems that the movie or shows audio is out of sync but when i use the channels on the TV itself it seems to be fine?? im guessing its because it's not the newer 4k roku streaming stick. Any tips or ideas why the audio is out of sync. Ive tried different optical cords aswell and that didn't fix it i went and traded sound bars thinking it might have been the speaker but itgs not.

digital audio cables such as optical cables can cause the soundbar to sound right after the TV speakers.

bc the digital sound receivers have to process the sound from digital audio signal to ur soundbar speakers.

If ur using the soundbar, turn the tv volume all the way down. and turn the soundbar volume up.

Source(s): When I hooked my TV to the receiver using the optical cable, the audio from the sound system is little bit out of sync from the tv speakers. bc the digital receiver has to process sound from digital signal to the speakers.
