If I moved the fuel filter from under the car and put under the hood would there be a problem arise ?

1996 GEO Metro could I move the fuel filter from under the car too under the hood without causing a problem ?

    Depending where the fuel filter is under the hood, higher temperatures could make the fuel boil inside the filter which is a bad thing.

    Should be ok. just keep it away from exhaust manifold in case it leaks.

    As long as there is an adapter, you can do that alright.

    WHY???? Why not clean the crud out of the tank that keeps plugging it up a fuel filter doesn't need to be changed for years.

    They are not fitted under the hood fire safety reasons on a crash.

    Why do you want to make your car less safe?
