How to respond to ads saying my phone is infected.?

I keep getting hysterical ads popping up telling me my phone is horribly infected by a ruthless virus and I must click here to save my phone from ruination. They claim to be from Google but have a weird irl in the address bar.

Why don't you just factory reset your phone? You're signed in to Google with your Gmail so when you factory reset your phone and you sign back in your contacts will come back and you'll get rid of whatever is bugging you

Your phone IS infected with that advert. Go to the Google Play store and load an anti-malware program.
