Do you think that the “catch” rule is worse for the NFL then kneeling for the anthem?
There’s so many undefined things about completing a catch and you never know what should or shouldn’t be a catch. It almost makes the games seem rigged

I don't see what is so complicated about maintaining control of the ball while falling to the ground. That is fairly simply and straight forward. He was going to the ground as he was making the catch, which means the first thing he has to ensure s that he maintains control of the ball. He instead opted to reach out with it while falling, change what should have been his first priority, pretty much the same thing as the guy who looks at where he is gong to run prior to looking in the catch. Change the priority and bad things happen.

It'll never be perfect. Wtf do expect? Every team has to live with the same thing. You have an answer?

Yes, I do. James didn't catch the ball under the current rules, but the current rule is too complicated.

Well of course it is worse. If the NFL could write a CLEAR rule it would improve the game. Remember when you just had to break the plane? The ball crossed the line, that used to be enough for a Touchdown. Now making a catch itself isn't even enough. Remember when the Steelers had that INT stolen against the Colts a few years back because the ball was clearly caught, player turned(pretty sure it was Troy but would have to look it up to be sure) started running a few steps with possession and then dropped it. The excuse was there wasn't a football move, but what is that? I mean you watch that play and if one isn't made then what does it take to make one? Basically the NFL just wants this rule to be able to change plays if they want.

yeah it is one of many retarded rules in the NFL, that was a touchdown, and they did not have enough to overturn that call yet they did so either way, if the opponent is any other team other than the Pats that call never gets overturned.
