Only a fool can look at nature, see the set laws for all things, even far away planets, and think there is no Law Giver who set them and is above it all.

Since God -- not "the" God -- wasn't made up, no.

Hello person who thinks he/she is a moist robot.

God would have to exist outside of the dimension of space, time and matter and therefore not be subject to it or limited by it. He could not exist if He had any beginning.

The alternative to Him not existing is beyond stupid

If spatially infinite empty space for the universe to exist within was also infinite in time then potentials, laws, possibilities, particles, energy, physics possibilities and other would have infinitely existed for NO PURPOSE WHATSOEVER and these things with no guidance or plan fine tuned to bring about life.

Even more of a problem is that, due to infinity itself, it would be impossible that an infinite number of events have NOT TAKEN PLACE SINCE NO BEGINNING and again for no purpose and we have no record or proof that an infinite number of events have taken place EVEN IF THERE WERE TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS OF CENTURIES BETWEEN THOSE INFINITE NUMBER OF EVENTS SINCE NO BEGINNING before the so-called big bang

    However, if this supposedly happened:

The few elements needed for a protein molecule sorted themselves out from over 80 elements in the churning of earth’s primordial oceans and just came together in exactly the same place, at exactly the same time and in exactly the right amounts and formed a protein molecule and that this process continued until the millions of protein molecules needed to form a cell were available. This gathering of protein molecules although not life formed into a cell that built a protective wall around itself and learned to replicate itself.

Then this would be the result:

If we are just molecules in motion , then we are nothing but moist robots whose every thought is the result of a previous natural cause. Free-thinking can’t exist in such a world. Ironically, atheists must rely on faith rather than reason. Being materialists, atheists Sam Harris and Daniel Dennett claim that consciousness, and free will are illusions (one wonders if they freely came to those conclusions while conscious!). But if they are correct, then “you” and “me” don’t really exist in a conscious state and so neither do arguments—we are just molecular machines who are just reacting not reasoning.

This is the central problem that emerges repeatedly in atheist arguments: Atheists exempt themselves from their own claims and theories. If free will is an illusion and everyone is a molecular machine, then we can’t reasonably arrive at any conclusions.

God is as real as you and I. No disappointment here.

Like you, I believe that God exists only in the heart and mind of man. Am I "disappointed" ? No, I am no more disappointed in that, than I am "disappointed" to know that my cells are mostly made of water. I attend a Christian church. In a sense the congregation IS the "body of Christ." The worship of God very easily survived the damage to "Biblical literalism" that was done by 19th-century biology and geology. We don't have to believe that the ancient Hebrew myths are reality, in order to believe that God is important.

Since God broke through my barriers and turned my life round for good, I have experienced nothing other than joy and delight. I now have purpose and hope in my life.

He's real to me, and that's what matters. My life, my choice.

Believe what makes the most sense to you.
