As a woman is there anything I should know or keep in mind when it comes to losing my virginity?
I think I know enough to prepare myself and I know it's different for everyone I just don't really have any girlfriends I can talk to this about and would really enjoy your input, thank you.

If you are properly lubricated, turned on and aren't nervous then it shouldn't hurt or even bleed (at least not a lot). Foreplay is very important so work your way to sex! It helps relax your body and get you more wet so it'll feel better.
If you are doing it with someone you care about and trust then it might be a little awkward but a whole lot better then doing it with a stranger.
My first time was painless and felt great. It was with my bf whom I love and trust with all my heart and he made sure it was a pleasurable experience for me and would stop if I ever seemed uncomfortable.
Just make sure to stay safe, use protection and don't rush it!

I had the best time with a guy I met for a total of 5 minutes and didn't regret it. I was ready. I was comfortable with my body which means I wasn't tense when he saw me naked or touched me. I felt safe and respected with the guy (very important whether it's with your husband or like me and a guy you met 5 minutes ago he has to be someone that you know will STOP if you say so.) And find someone experienced!!! The most awkward, painful stories are with my friends who were with guys that were also experiencing their first time which makes it bad because they are so nervous they can't get hard and the girl is nervous she smells or looks weird and that's why he can't get hard and then you try and force it and both end up awkward. Make sure one of you knows what's up.
Use coconut oil, have lots of foreplay and make sure it's someone you can laugh with. The guy I was with made me laugh and we talked through the wholr thing not annoyingly just relaxed and it made it fun and not awkward

It will hurt, use protection, you'll probably feel embarrassed but try to remember not to be (if you're doing it he obviously thinks you're pretty), and for me I bled a lot, like put a towel on the bed a lot

Just know to lose your virginity to someone special. It's a big deal and will remain with you forever. Don't regret who you lose it to.
