Gift of clothes this Christmas?
Do you think it's rude to say the clothes didn't fit and you need a size change ??

Absolutely not. I think most givers want their gift to fit well, and understand that sizes are variable.

No. People don't always get the right size or sometimes even though the label may be correct the garment is off.

I know a guy who deliberately buys his wife clothes a few sizes too small. (she just exchanges the size) she asked him once why he always got a size 8, when she wore a size 16. He told her that he'd just look around the store until he saw a woman who looked to be her size, and ask what size they wore. She was so touched that she never chided him.
He told me once, that he made the mistake of buying her jeans in her real size, and she got upset and said " Do I look fat?" So now he always buys them too small on purpose, because it makes her happy.
