    How is it arbitrary?

When a man is fined for speeding is it a percentage of his income?

Why not, since according to you, this would be fair?

And why are you brainwashed to believe that middle class people should pay more, percentage wise, in taxes than the rich, just because there are more of us? Most conservatives feel that if there is universal health care that they're paying for lazy people. Well why should the middle class pay more in taxes just so the rich can line their pockets more with money. Trickle down doesn't work. It's been proven.

That's not arbitrary. It's planned and reasoned. The rich get their money by extracting it from the workers and consumers. They refuse often to pay a living wage and often cheat consumers. The Constitutional Amendment that allowed the federal income tax was designed to tax the very rich, to reduce their influence over government and society. Read the history of the populist movement and the story behind the income tax.

Because they're rich because they're exploiting the nation's natural resources!

Why do you think Republicans made opening the Alaska national wildlife refuge is written into the tax reform bill?

They knew that like repeal and replace it wouldn't get passed on it's own!

Because since the rich control such a vast majority of the wealth, if we didn't tax them more, shitwould fall apart even more than it is now.

It's not arbitrary. Their being "rich" is specifically what makes it not arbitrary. Why liberals think it's legal is the same thing that makes everything that's legal legal: the law. You seem to have problems understanding what words mean.
