    Psychology is very basic:

Pro 14:7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.

St. Paul had it pegged when he talked about his mind doing one thing while his body did another. To this day we are still struggling with that. To this day we still have not been able to transcend that issue enough to really understand it generally. And now with all this AI who has time to even think about it?

Psychology is the study of the human mind and its functions. We can learn much from the observation of how the mind works. Modern psychology frequently takes a solidly humanistic approach in which decisions are made based on human observations apart from the sufficiency of Scripture.

Although religious books like the Bible and the Qur'an contain much useful information about "what makes people tick" and how they should respond to social and moral issues, they are at odds with the humanistic approach adopted by psychology.

Personally, I would sooner trust what my creator has to say about humanity and sin and how far removed we are from God's holy, righteous and perfect standards than the opinions of godless people.

    psychology =/= religion

in fact you could consider them as opposites

where religion seeks to impose and psychology seeks to examine

however, I note that you are asking about the scriptures as

    opposed to the actual religions

and bear in mind that Christianity, had tens of thousands of sects

based on one book but each believing different things

it pains me to have to say it

    but it's probably $cientology

because it is the most recently written

so the author knew about nuclear weapons

(and used them as a theme)

and he knew a little about psychology

HOWEVER. I would not recommend $cientology as

anything other than a way to get your wallet raped

    and your mind warped

their version of psychology is not accepted by any

    serious professional
